Description

Lum and Abner. The show was about two old hillbilly characters named Lum Edwards (Chester Lauck) and Abner Peabody (Norris Goff). Other characters include (who were also voiced by Lauck & Goff) Squire Skimp, Cedric Weehunt, Granpappy Spears, Dick Huddleston, and many others. The show was set around a "Jot'em down store" in the small town of Pine Ridge, Arkansas.

One of the longest running radio comedies in radio history. Starting 04/26/31 and continuing until 05/15/53. The series also was one of the rare radio shows to air at different times over each of the national networks.
