Edgar Rice Burroughs June 3, 2011 Reviewer: Bill Cox from Commerce, GA United States   Edgar Rice Burroughs has always been a great favorite of mine.  I came by my interest in him at a very early age, pre-school in fact, thru his most famous character - Tarzan. Besides Tarzan, Burroughs wrote some very interesting science-fiction stories.  One series takes place on the planet Mars.  Another series takes place in a prehistoric world inside the hollow earth.  One story called "Beyond Thirty" or "The Lost Continent" takes place in a strange future world.  The lost continent turns out to be England! Most of Burroughs's fiction is definitely in the fantastic category, but "The Efficiency Expert" takes place in our own workaday world in Burroughs's home town of Chicago, and tells of a young man's struggle to succeed in business by really, really trying.  It has lots of interesting twists and turns.  Burroughs was definitely a great storyteller.  In my opinion, one of the all time best.  I highly recommend his writings and this CD containing many of his best works!
